This 2 week trip to Zambia was planned to install desktop computers into schools across a number of schools in Lusaka as well as run a follow up workshop for local teachers covering Microsoft Excel and Word.
The team consisted of Fraser, Peter, Rob, Ross, Jack, Mannie and myself.
The schools we worked with in 2018 were – Holy Cross Convent School, Cry School, Crown of Life School, Good Shepherd School, Kiine School and Vision of Hope.
As we have streamlined our installation process we can now spend more time with the teachers and the children working on the computers.
The Workshop took place over one day and we had in excess of 20 teachers attending of varying skill levels. Fortunately with a good team we were able to create smaller groups and one of the team was able to give the group of 3 or 4 more attention than trying to teach from the front. The feedback was very positive.
